This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–8 pm. This is probably the best and most authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the area. Their phở bò and cơm tấm are excellent (even the rice is real broken rice, not regular rice). The menu is massive with so many dishes, including Thai's so I am not sure if everything is good, but I can reasonably guess that if you stick to Vietnamese foods, you should be alright. The staff are fast, efficient and alwayswith a smile. We had lunch, the dining room is nice, bright, and clean. The price is also very reasonable as compared to others in the area. All in all, we are very happy with this place. Highly recommended 👌

My family and I stopped by Pho Mai while visiting San Bernardino, and it was a great experience. My in-laws love the pho here and ask to come every time we’re in town. I ordered the crispy pancakes , and it was worth the wait. They took the time to make it crispy instead of rushing it. The food tasted fresh and flavorful. The manager was also very friendly and checked on us during our meal. What I appreciate most is how accommodating they are with children, which makes eating out with family much less stressful. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in San Bernardino.

I feel like people just give a place a good review because their experience wasn’t terrible. Mine wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good either. Don’t get me wrong I’m not a difficult guest, but when we’re paying money to eat out some place we have some expectations and are looking for quality we can’t recreate at home. Otherwise, what’s the point of eating out? To waste money? Don’t get me wrong the food wasn’t awful, but it didn’t stand out or give me a reason to come back to this specific restaurant instead of going somewhere else. Me not getting Vietnamese often I asked what a popular spicy authentic Vietnamese option would be and one of the options given was a Thai dish? I get having some other options, but if I’m getting Thai food I’ll probably go to a restaurant that specifically makes Thai food. I asked if there was anything they could do to add spice to my food. All I got was “There’s nothing they can do to make it spicy, you can use the options on the table.” Siracha and basic chili oil (neither are really that spicy, to me at least.) I need to bring my own spice everywhere I go at this point. I get it’s not Thai food, but… There’s nothing they can do to add spice in the

Great portions, taste and pricing. Servers are attentive. Tried their bún bò Huế it was very flavorful. Did not eat it with pork blood since I don't like it. The meat and tripe were tender. Will return to try a different dish.
